100.7 The Tiger and Eagle 98.1 Host Race for Taylor Swift tickets!

Baton Rouge, LA – Last weekend, 100.7 The Tiger and Eagle 98.1 threw down a huge foot race for the ultimate Taylor Swift fan: the Swiftest Dad Race! We qualified 50 men, all sprinting their hearts out for a chance to win floor seats to the Eras Tour in New Orleans. It was AWESOME!

The race went down at Perkins Road Community Park on Saturday, October 19th. The weather was perfect, the crowd was pumped, and the dads were ripping it up! There were five heats, each with 10 racers, and the winners from each heat battled it out in a final showdown.

Former LSU track stars Abigail and Kelli O’Donoghue were our judges, keeping things fair and exciting. The energy was electric as fans cheered on their favorite dads and held up homemade signs.

The grand finale was a nail-biter! The men were giving it their all, pushing themselves to the limit. In the end, Evan Pfister from Destrehan took the win, securing floor seats for his cousin.

The Swiftest Dad Race was a total blast, thanks to our sponsor, Duplessis Pool Builders, and BREC. Our TV partner, WBRZ Channel 2, was there to capture all the action, and their coverage aired on the 10pm newscast.
