Gordy Rush, VP/GM of Guaranty Media will serve as Grand Marshall 2016 of the Krewe of Orion which rolls in Downtown Baton Rouge on Saturday, January 30th at 6:30 p.m.
Since 1998, the Krewe of Orion has utilized Carnival as a means to encourage fellowship, community service, philanthropy and good will through various social and civic endeavors. The Krewe is fashioned after some of the New Orleans parade as the parade ends up running through the Baton Rouge River Center culminating with “Masquerade”, the formal ball that evening after the parade.
